At its General Assembly on 25 May, the World Plastics Council members approved the WPC’s brand refresh.

Ahead of the INC-2 meeting on a global Agreement on plastic pollution, the World Plastics Council (WPC) hosted an event on “Collaborating to Accelerate a Circular Economy – How a Global Agreement Can Unleash Innovation and Accelerate Circularity” in Paris.

Following a meeting of the World Plastics Council’s (WPC) Executive Committee, Mr. Benny Mermans of Chevron Phillips Chemical has been unanimously elected to succeed Mr. James (Jim) Seward of LyondellBasell as the next Chairman of the WPC, as of 1st January 2023.
