The World Plastics Council is pleased to announce that Dr. Martin Jung, President of BASF’s Performance Materials Division, has been elected as the new Vice-Chair of the WPC Executive Committee. Martin brings extensive international leadership experience and deep technical expertise, having served on the WPC Executive Committee since 2024 and actively contributing to global initiatives on circularity and sustainability.
We warmly congratulate Martin on his election and look forward to working closely together to advance our shared priorities, including accelerating circular solutions and supporting progress towards a global plastics treaty.
At the same time, we extend our sincere thanks to Tracey Campbell of LyondellBasell for her outstanding service as outgoing Vice-Chair. Tracey’s leadership and commitment have been instrumental in strengthening WPC’s voice on the global stage.
