The World Plastics Council will be integrated into the ICCA structure from 2 June 2026. This creates a more coordinated approach to global industry engagement while maintaining continuity of WPC’s work, priorities and partnerships.

No. The WPC’s core areas of work and priorities will continue unchanged within the new structure. The integration ensures continuity while strengthening alignment with ICCA’s broader global advocacy and policy activities.

The WPC brings together regional and national plastics associations from around the world. All members, partnerships and engagement channels remain in place, with no disruption to ongoing collaboration or activities.

The WPC will operate within the ICCA framework, ensuring closer coordination at global level. At the same time, existing leadership engagement and stakeholder interaction will continue, providing continuity and stability.
