This would represent approximately 20% of its global PE and PP sales in 2022. The company developed the first commercial scale, single-train advanced recycling plant using LyondellBasell’s proprietary technology based in Germany. Additionally, it produced and marketed 175 Kt of recycled and renewable-based polymers since 2019 and is growing its mechanical recycling and sorting footprint globally with partners to increase and secure access to feedstock.
